Copper heat pipe for solar water heater systems which use heat pipes for heat transfer into a manifold instead of filling the vacuum tubes with water. This is the copper heat pipe which has a fluid inside to help accelerate heat transfer to the manifold through evaporation/condensation. The bulb at the top has extra surface area to help transfer heat within the manifold faster as well. However, it will only work with manifolds which accept the larger bulb type. Our current solar systems use the slimmer heat pipe type, so these will not work with our solar water heater systems. Solar Water Heater Copper Heat Pipe for Vacuum Tubes Features
- Length of heat pipe: 67" (for 1800mm tubes)
- Width of condensor / top that fits into manifold: 7/8"
- Diameter of gasket: 1 5/8" (for 58mm tubes)
- Pipe is very flexible and will be shipped in a coil-like form to fit into a regular box. It can be flattened back out very easily.
